EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern men's golf will travel to Scottsdale, Arizona this weekend for the fifth-annual Desert Mountain Intercollegiate.
The event will take place on Desert Mountain's Outlaw Course and will consist of 36 holes of stroke play on Saturday beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. CT. The final 18 holes will be played with tee times starting at 9:30 a.m. on day two. The Outlaw Course will be set up for a par 72 and 7,107 yards.
This is the second stroke play tournament of the spring for Northwestern. First year John Driscoll and senior Everton Hawkins will look to continue their momentum after earning top-15 finishes at the Prestige.
The Desert Mountain field features three other Big Ten teams, Michigan, Nebraska, and Purdue. It is rounded out by the final eight teams: Arkansas Little-Rock, Ball State, Lipscomb, Miami (Ohio), Mississippi State, Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Vanderbilt.
