DURHAM, NC - Northwestern tennis fell to undefeated Duke, 4-0 Sunday afternoon in Durhman, NC.
The Blue Devils took the first win of doubles play at the number two spots. In the number three doubles position, sophomore Steven Forman and first-year Natan Spear bested Guell and Heller of Duke, 6-3 before DU took the point in a tightly contested match in the number one singles, 7-6 (7-5).
Duke went on to take the next three points in the number four, one and five positions.
The Wildcats will be back on the court Friday, Feb. 7 and 9 when they take on Kentucky and Oklahoma State on the road in a nonconference double header weekend.
