EVANSTON, Ill. – After an impressive win at Notre Dame last Friday, Northwestern Women's Tennis returns home for a double header on Sunday, February 16 against No. 17 Georgia Tech and UIC. Matches are set for 12 and 6 p.m. in the Combe Tennis Center.
The Wildcats rallied to a 4-3 win last Friday with powerful singles performances from Inci Ogut, Clarissa Hand, and Hannah McColgan. After picking up the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, Ogut took her match at No. 2 singles in straight sets, while Hand and McColgan battled through three-set matches to push Northwestern to the win.
Following Sunday's matches, Northwestern will head to Waco, Texas to take on Baylor on Sunday, February 23. That match is set for 1 p.m.
