EVANSTON, Ill. — The Northwestern women's golf program will get its spring underway at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
The Wildcats are set to tee off at the Rio Mar Country Club on Sunday at 6 a.m. CT alongside Iowa State and Maryland. The Par-72 course will play 6,164 yards.
LADY PUERTO RICO CLASSIC PAIRINGS
The 54-hole tournament over the course of three days features a 15-team field including Augusta, East Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, NC State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue, TCU, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech.
Head Coach Emily Fletcher's lineup will include sophomore Kelly Sim, senior Brooke Riley, first-year Irene Kim, sophomore Jane Lu and sophomore Kelly Su. First year Rou Yin will compete as an individual.
The 'Cats finished fourth in the 2019 Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
