QUOTABLES

"A lot of times people don't realize the commitment that goes in for the players between games. Whether it is lifting weights, getting treatment, eating right, sleep, and they go to Northwestern as well … When you put that kind of investment into it and you don't get to taste the success, it can be hard. To see those guys playing music, dancing, throwing water and chest-bumping, and enjoying being in a 40 minute battle with another team and winning, hopefully that will go a long way towards us moving forward"

- Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins on what the win over Nebraska means for the team

"Seeing our guys like Robbie, Jared and Boo play super well, aggressive and confident shows how much they've grown over the season so far. It's awesome for me to see. I see how hard they work in practice everyday and it pays off."

- Sophomore Miller Kopp on the growth of the first-year players

"I just wanted to throw myself into it. I just wanted to be with my guys. We battle everyday in practice then we come out on the floor and do whatever it takes to make winning plays."

- First year Robbie Beran on his mindset in the starting position
