EVANSTON, IL -- Northwestern fell to #8 Penn. State in three sets on Sunday afternoon at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The Wildcats were led on offense by junior Nia Robinson, who collected 12 kills. Robinson has now totaled double-digit kills in six of her last seven games.
First-year Charlotte Cronister led the team with seven digs, while graduate student Payton Chang tallied 22 assists.
Before the game, Robinson was honored for reaching 1,000 career kills. Robinson reached the milestone during a win against Michigan on November 1st. She is just the 24th player in program history to join the 1,000 kill club.
The Wildcats return to action on Friday as they take on Ohio State at 6 pm in Columbus.
