LINCOLN, NEB -- Northwestern fell to #7 Nebraska Wednesday night in Lincoln, 3-0.
The Wildcats were led on offense by junior Nia Robinson and first-year Temi Thomas-Ailara. For the second game in a row, first-year Desiree Becker toped the defense stat row for the 'Cats, with a team high six blocks.
Despite a late surge in the third set, the Wildcats were unable to extend the match to a fourth set.
The 'Cats will be back on the court at 6 pm Sunday afternoon as they rematch against Michigan State in East Lansing.
