ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Northwestern closed out its road trip at Michigan on Sunday, but couldn't get off the mark in a 3-0 defeat.
The game remained scoreless heading into halftime but the Wolverines gained momentum in the 53rd minute to take the lead, 1-0 and added another score four minutes later. The final goal came in the 77th minute.
Junior goalkeeper Miha Miskovic recorded four saves after facing seven shots on goal.
Chicago's Big Ten Team returns home to take on cross-town foe, Loyola on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. at Martin Stadium.
