PISCATAWAY, NJ – Northwestern fell to Rutgers in a thrilling five set match Sunday afternoon in Piscataway, 3-2.
The Wildcats finished the day with four 'Cats tallying double-digit kills including juniors Nia Robinson, Alana Walker, sophomore Ella Grbac and first-year Temi Thomas-Ailara.
Robinson led NU with 18 kills hitting a .484 clip, just one off of her season of high of 19 which was set against Indiana on Oct. 5. Walker tied her season high notching 14 kills for the 'Cats.
Northwestern will be back on the court Friday, November 1 as they take on Michigan State at 7 pm at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
