CARMEL, Ind. - David Nyfjäll earned his second consecutive top-5 finish and the Wildcats took home a share of third place in their final fall event of the season at the Crooked Stick Invitational.
FINAL RESULTS
With winds gusting up to 25 mph., Northwestern finished strong with best round of the day. The Wildcats completed the round with a 5-over 293 score for a total of 15-over for the tournament, tying with Marquette.
The University of Georgia took home the team title while Tyler Leach from Marquette earned the individual title.
Nyfjäll finished just four shots off the lead, carding an even-par final round. This marks his second top-5 finish of the season and fifth of his career.
First-year John Driscoll III finished the event with 13 birdies, the second highest of any individual in the tournament for a share of 13th place.
James Imai bounced back from a tough second round, carding an even-par round to tie for 21st, his second top-25 finish of the year.
