Northwestern Slips to No. 8 Indiana at Martin Stadium

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern went toe to toe with No. 8 Indiana but ended up on the wrong side of a 3-1 scoreline Tuesday night at Martin Stadium.
 
The Wildcats' lone goal of the night came on a super strike from first year Ugo Achara, Jr. in  the 40th minute to tie it up. It was Achara's second goal of the season with an assist from senior Sean Lynch.

Chicago's Big Ten Team returns to action on Sunday when it hits the road to face Michigan. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
 
Match Notes
  • Northwestern had a handful of chances in the second half with the game tied at 1-1. Senior Ty Seager had a shot that fired over the bar and Achara took a touch around the keeper but fired wide of the net.
  • The Wildcats earned their fair share of opportunities, totaling nine shots to Indiana's 10.
  • Junior goalkeeper Miha Miskovic started and made three saves.
