A trio of 'Cats shot under par in the second round, including senior Brooke Riley (2-under), sophomore Kelly Sim (1-under) and junior Julia Tournant (1-under).
Competing in the 'Cats' lineup for the first time in her career, Tournant made the turn in round two at even par and carded three birdies on the back en route to her first career collegiate round under par. She is tied for 58th at 8-over.
Riley was 5-over after the first round and fell to 7-over due to a double bogey on No. 3 in round two, but was undeterred and found her stroke with five birdies over her next 10 holes. She closed the round with five-straight pars to post her third round under par of the season. The lefty enters the final round tied for 35th at 3-over.
Sim is tied for 54th at 7-over after carding her second round under par of the season in the afternoon. She had a pair of bogeys in her first five holes, but closed the front nine with a birdie on No. 9 before following it up with birdies on holes 10, 12 and 13.
The Wildcats are in 13th after day one and tee off Tuesday morning alongside Augusta and familiar Big Ten foe Michigan.
