EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern men's soccer team defeated the UIC Flames, 2-1 in a come-from-behind overtime thriller inside Martin Stadium on Tuesday night, marking head coach Tim Lenahan's  300th career win.

After a player from UIC was sent off in the 12th minute due to a red card, the Flames were required to play a man down for the remainder of the match. Despite the penalty, it did not keep the Flames from attacking. The Flames outshot the Wildcats, 11-6 and Northwestern trailed 1-0 in the second half. It was the equalizer from first-year, Ugo Achara Jr. in the 85th minute that sent the Wildcats into overtime.
