EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern's Sunday doubleheader against Loyola (Chi.) and Danville Community College to open the Wildcats' 2019 fall ball schedule has been canceled due to inclement weather in the forecast.
The Wildcats will be back in action next weekend on Sunday, September 29 when they host Bradley for a doubleheader beginning at 12:30 p.m. CT. The following weekend, the 'Cats welcome DePaul to Sharon J. Drysdale Field for a fall ball doubleheader starting at 11 a.m. CT. Finally, Northwestern will host Heartland Community College and Spoon River College on Sunday, October 13 beginning at 10 a.m. CT.
Admission is free to every fall ball game for all attending fans, as is parking on Sundays at the Ryan Field East lot. The Wildcats return all but two members from a 2019 squad that captured an NCAA Regional Title for the first time since 2008 after hosting a Regional as a top-16 seed.
