EVANSTON, Ill. — Nine regular-season tournaments, including Northwestern's own Windy City Classic, highlight the 2019-20 women's golf schedule announced Thursday by head coach Emily Fletcher.
Coming off their seventh-straight trip and top-15 finish at the NCAA Championships last season, the Wildcats will open the season with a pair of tournaments on the road at the Inverness Intercollegiate from Sept. 16-17 and Mason Rudolph Invitational on Sept. 20-22 before returning to Chicago for the Windy City Classic at the Glen View Golf Club from starting Sept. 30
The 'Cats will conclude their fall schedule at the Stanford Intercollegiate from Oct. 11-13.
Northwestern will open the spring portion of its schedule at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Mar from Feb. 9-11 and travel west to the always-competitive Bruin/Wave Invitational in San Luis Obispo, California to conclude the month February from the 24-26.
In what has become an annual tradition for the 'Cats, they will start the month of March at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, from the Mar. 6-8. NU will also return to the PING/ASU Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona, from Mar. 27-29 before concluding the regular season at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, California, Apr. 5-7.
The 2020 Big Ten Championships will once again be held in Maineville, Ohio from Apr. 24-26. NCAA Regionals are slated for May 11-13 and the 2020 NCAA Championships will be held at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, from May 22-27.
