EVANSTON, Ill. -- Select 2019 football kickoff times and television designations were announced Thursday by the Big Ten Conference and its broadcast partners. Northwestern will open the campaign on Saturday, August 31, at 1 p.m. PT/3 p.m. CT against the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto, in a game broadcast on FOX. The Wildcats home opener on Saturday, September 14, against UNLV will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT at historic Ryan Field.

Season tickets for the Big Ten West Division champions' slate in Evanston are on sale now by calling 888-GO-PURPLE or visiting NUSports.com. The home schedule features a 2018 Big Ten Championship Game rematch with Ohio State, as well as visits from Iowa, Michigan State and Purdue.

Aug. 31 - Northwestern at Stanford, FOX, 3:00 p.m. CT
Sept. 14 - UNLV at Northwestern, BTN, 2:30 p.m. CT
Oct. 5 - Northwestern at Nebraska, 2:30/3:00 p.m. CT
Oct. 18 - Ohio State at Northwestern, FS1, 7:30 p.m. CT
Oct. 26 - Iowa at Northwestern, 11:00 a.m. CT (Homecoming)
