FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The third round of the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Blessings Golf Club was suspended due to darkness Monday night.

Northwestern has just three holes remaining, with junior Brooke Riley and first year Kelly Sim to resume play at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday. The Wildcats are seeking to wrap up their seventh-straight top-15 finish as they were in 13th when play was suspended.

The 'Cats would be in position to advance to the fourth round of the NCAA Championships with a place in the top-15 after three rounds, but inclement weather in the Northwestern Arkansas area forced the stroke play championships to be cut from 72 to 54 holes. The field will cut to eight teams at the completion of the third round.
