EVANSTON, Ill. — The 16th-ranked Northwestern women's golf program is headed to Cle Elum, Washington, for NCAA Regionals.
The Wildcats earned the No. 4 seed in the Cle Elum Regional at Tumble Creek Club. The top-ranked USC Trojans are the No. 1 seed in the region. Four regional tournaments will be played May 6-8 to determine the championships field.
The Cle Elum Regional also includes Arkansas, South Carolina, Washington, Miami, Oregon, San Jose State, Oregon State, Old Dominion, Iowa State, San Diego State, UCF, Ohio State, Sacramento State, New Mexico State, Boston and Southern Illinois.
Six teams and three individuals will advance from each regional to the 2019 NCAA Championships May 17-22 at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas, hosted by the University of Arkansas. The final three days of the championships will be televised live by the Golf Channel.
