EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern cross country program heads to California this week, where a total of 10 Wildcats will compete over three different competitions.
 
Sarah Nicholson will get the week started for the 'Cats on Thursday, running the 10K at the Mt. San Antonio College Relays. Her event is scheduled to begin at 6:15 pm CT.
 
Six Wildcats will be competing in the Bryan Clay Invitational, 30 minutes north in Azusa, California, on Thursday and Friday. Hannah Hall, Aubrey Roberts, Kelly O'Brien and Isabel Seidel will run on Thursday. Rachel McCardell will round off the events for Northwestern, competing Friday.
 
 Northwestern will have three runners competing at the Long Beach State University Invitational  to finish the west coast trip Friday. Amanda Davis and Sara McCoy will compete in the 1500 meter and Olivia Verbeke will run the 800 meter for the 'Cats.
