Northwestern and DePaul Extend Series Through 2024

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern and DePaul have reached an agreement to extend their crosstown series for five additional seasons beginning in 2020, both institutions announced Tuesday.
 
The Wildcats and Blue Demons will meet in 2019 at Wintrust Arena for the final game of the previous series agreement. Under the extension, Northwestern will host DePaul at Welsh-Ryan Arena in 2020, 2022 and 2024 and travel to Wintrust Arena for contests in 2021 and 2023.

Northwestern and DePaul have met 34 times in the series history. The Wildcats have won six of the previous eight meetings against DePaul and are in the midst of a four-game win streak, NU's longest against the Blue Demons in program history.
 
The Wildcats topped DePaul, 75-68, at Welsh-Ryan Arena last season on Dec. 8, 2018.
 
Times for each game will be released at later dates.
