Iowa City, IA.– Northwestern concluded its regular season at No. 12 Iowa, falling 74-50 on Sunday night.
The Wildcats were within five at halftime but the Hawkeyes pulled away late in the third quarter, extending the lead to double-digits.
Abbie Wolf posted a team high 15 points in her 15 minutes of play. The junior shot an efficient 7-for-9 from the field to lead the team in scoring for the first time in her career.
Lindsey Pulliam put up 13 points for her 28th consecutive double-digit point game of the season and 61st of her career. Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah also contributed 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting and pulled down five rebounds.
The Wildcats defense swiped nine steals and forced 16 Hawkeye turnovers to convert to 18 points on the other end.
Northwestern finishes the regular season with a 16-13 record and 9-9 in conference play, earning the No. 8 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
