Evanston, Ill. -- Northwestern will host Duke and Chicago State on Sunday in their first double-header home dual match this season. Matches are set to start at the Combe Tennis Center at noon and 5:30 p.m. CT respectively.
The 'Cats are coming off a dominating performance against Auburn last Sunday in Alabama. The Wildcats started the morning strong with No. 3 duo Trice Pickens and Antonioni Fasano recording a 6-2 victory and top Wildcat duo Simen Bratholm and Nick Brookes took down their opponents 6-4.
In single play, Northwestern's No. 2 Nick Brookes, No. 5 Chris Ephron and No. 6 Trice Pickens each notched a match win. The 'Cats finished the day with a 4-2 victory over the Tigers.
The Blue Devils are 3-2 overall while the Cougars are 0-1 on the season. Duke will be heading to Evanston after a Friday night match against Illinois and Chicago State will travel to the match after a morning dual against Prairie State College.
