EVANSTON, IL. - Northwestern Women's Fencing is back in action this weekend as they kick off the new year in the USA Fencing NAC in Charlotte, N.C, an individual competition, Friday, Jan 4 – Monday, Jan 7.
The Wildcats are coming off an impressive fall season, defeating 16 of the 17 teams faced this fall at both the Vassar Invitational and Elite Invitational.
Over winter break, seven fencers competed in individual tournaments including the North American Cup and the Junior World Cup.
In addition to the 'Cats traveling to Charlotte, sophomore Marta Amador Molina will compete in Junior Epee World Cup in Udine, Italy on Saturday, Jan. 5.
