NU Set for Trip to Alabama

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern is set for a third-straight weekend on the road, traveling to Tuscaloosa to face Alabama on Friday and Auburn on Sunday. The matchup with the Crimson Tide is set to start at 6 p.m. CT, while Sunday's action will begin at 9 a.m.

The Wildcats got victories from Dominik Stary and Trice Pickens last weekend in a contest at Vanderbilt. Stary has won two of three singles matches on the campaign playing at the No. 2 spot in the lineup.

Chicago's Big Ten Team holds a narrow advantage in the all-time series against Alabama, with six wins and five losses. NU has also won each of the past two matchups, both by a score of 4-3.

Sunday's meeting with Auburn will be the first ever between the first two programs.

The trip will mark the end of five consecutive matches away from home to start the season for the 'Cats. Northwestern will then return to Evanston to host five straight duals, including the conference opener on Feb. 10.
