RALEIGH, NC – The Wildcats wrapped up their doubleheader weekend at NC State where Northwestern fell to the Wolfpack 4-0.
NC State took the first point of the day with wins over No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams. Antonioni Fasano and Trice Pickens were in 4-4 battle, but didn't not finish their set.
In singles competition, the Wolfpack doubled their lead with a No. 2 singles win from Igor Saveljic. Chris Ephron and Simen Bratholm each played tough matches before dropping their second set. Nick Brookes, Fasano and Pickens did not finish their matches.
The 'Cats will be back on the court Friday Jan. 25, where they will take on Alabama at 6 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.
