EVANSTON, Ill. — The Wildcats (16-16) wrapped up their season on Saturday night at the new Welsh-Ryan Arena with a four-set win over Indiana (16-15).
Blocking was the highlight of the night for the 'Cats. With a season-high 18.5 blocks, Northwestern nearly doubled Indiana's output. Sophomore Alana Walker was the main contributor, finishing with a career-high 11 stuffs.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
- Sophomore Britt Bommer had a gam- high 39 assists and 24 digs … The first time in Bommer's career that she has a 20-plus assists and digs on the same night.
- Sophomore Nia Robinson had a game-high 25 kills, the second highest of the season … She also had a dig and a block.
- Sophomore Alana Walker had a game- and career-high 11 blocks … She also had nine kills.
- Her 11 blocks were the third-most by a Big Ten player this season and second-most in a Big Ten competition this year (trailing only Rutgers' Jasmine Stackhouse's 12 against Michigan State).
- Tied for the 13th-most in a match all-time in NU history and tied for the sixth most in a four-set match.
- First-year Abryanna Cannon tied her season highs with two assists and seven blocks … Cannon also had 12 kills on the night.
- First-year Michelle Lee tied her career high 10 assists ... She also had 18 digs over four sets.
MATCH NOTES:
- S1 | Nia Robinson led the 'Cats with six kills in the set. The Wildcats took the set, 25-23.
- S2 | Robinson led the set with nine kills, however Northwestern fell, 25-23.
- S3 | Walker led the set with three blocks, helping the 'Cats out-block Indiana, 5-1. The 'Cats took the set, 25-16.
- S4 | 'Cats continued to defend the net with a match high 6.5 blocks. Northwestern won the set, 25-22.
