EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern basketball will host the Binghamton Bearcats in the new Welsh-Ryan Arena at 6 p.m. on Friday night.
The Wildcats will try to get off to a 3-0 start to their season, after defeating American, 63-51, on Monday. In the game, senior forward Vic Law led NU with 26 points — his seventh-career game with 20-plus points.
Senior center Dererk Pardon registered his 11th double-double of his career in the contest and second in a row to start the 2018-19 campaign.
The popular ESPN sports talk show, Pardon the Interruption, will be broadcasting from the new Welsh-Ryan Arena prior to the Bearcats-Wildcats game. The hosts Michael Wilbon (a Northwestern alum) and Tony Kornheiser (a Binghamton alum) will also be the analysts for the game, which will be broadcast on ESPNews.
Fans are invited to come to the PTI taping which starts at 3:15 p.m. Doors will open at 2:45 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge and light concessions will be available. Fans interested in attending the 6 p.m. contest will have to purchase a ticket for the game. Fans are asked to RSVP for the event at NUsports.com/PTI.
