Next, Northwestern travels to Wisconsin and Minnesota on Oct. 12 and 13.

• Northwestern combined for 24 kills, 22 assists, and 29 digs.

 
INDIVIDUAL NOTES

• Nia Robinson led the Wildcats with nine kills … Abryanna Cannon had five kills.
• Britt Bommer paced the Northwestern stat sheet with 19 assists … She was also two-for-two on kills.
• Michelle Lee had a team-high eight digs … Alana Walker led NU with two blocks.

 
MATCH NOTES

• S1 | Illinois hit .444 en route to a 25-13 set victory.
• S2 | Northwestern hit at a .250 clip, but dropped the set to the Fighting Illini, 25-17.
• S3 | The 'Cats were not able to halt the Illinois offense and dropped the last set, 25-13.
