ERIN, Wis. — Senior Ryan Lumsden carded a 4-under 68 in the second round of the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills to pace Northwestern on Monday.

After a day littered with rain, the Wildcats ended the second round in second place (+6), only four strokes behind first-place Arizona State (+2).
Lumsden is tied for third after his performance. First-year Lucas Becht, who started the tournament with a 4-under 68, is tied for seventh place after his 4-over 76.
Three other 'Cats are in the top-35. Sophomore Eric McIntosh is tied for 20th at 4-over, while junior Everton Hawkins is tied for 26th at 5-over.
First-year David Nyfjäll is 7-over and is tied for 34th, while Peter Griffith, entered as an individual, is in 42nd place at 9-over.
NU will tee off their final round starting at 9:47 a.m. on Tuesday.
