EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern men's golf is off to play at the host of the 117th U.S. Open for the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills Golf Club, held Sept. 30 - Oct. 2.

The Wildcats' lineup will feature Ryan Lumsden, David Nyfjäll, Everton Hawkins, Eric McIntosh, and Lucas Becht. Pete Griffith will be entered as an individual. 

The 11-team field includes Arizona State, Iowa, Marquette, McNeese State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Northwestern, UC Davis, Utah and Wisconsin.

Lumsden, the Wildcats' No. 1 golfer in the lineup this week, was crowned the Big Ten's Golfer of the Week on Tuesday after finishing tied for fourth place at the season-opening Windon Memorial Classic. 

The 'Cats will tee off their first round on Sunday at 9 a.m. CT. The squad will play a round a day on Monday and Tuesday as well.
