LAKE FOREST, Ill. — In the first event of his senior year, Ryan Lumsden registered a top-five finish with a 5-under card at the 22nd Windon Memorial Classic at the Knollwood Club.

Lumsden, who registered a 1-over 73 on Monday's third round, finished tied for fourth place.
Two other 'Cats netted top-35 finishes, as first-year David Nyfjäll and junior Everton Hawkins ended with 4-over performances.
Northwestern finished in ninth place as a team. Marquette was the team championship at 4-under, while UC Davis's Thomas Hutchison posted an 11-under three rounds and was crowned the individual champion. Hutchison's 205 was tied for the best 54-hole performance in Windon history (also done three previous times).
Sophomore Eric McIntosh (T59) and first-year Lucas Becht (87) round out the NU starting lineup. First-year Yannick Artigolle (T73), junior Pete Griffith (T73), and sophomore Harrison Murphy (T55) participated as individuals.
The Wildcats play next weekend at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2).
