Lau was steadily magnificent in the final round, carding two birdies and 16 pars to secure the second consecutive Top-10 to kick off her final collegiate season. The highlight of the senior's competition was a 4-under 68 in Tuesday's second round, replete with six birdies including five during a seven-hole stretch from No. 15 to No. 3 (after teeing off No. 10 to start her day). Junior Brooke Riley matched Lau on Tuesday, carding seven birdies on her way to a 68. The Manteca, California, native wrapped up the 54-hole event in a tie for 25th.
The Wildcats will be off until Oct. 1 when they host the two-day, 54-hole Windy City Collegiate Classic at Westmoreland Country CLub

Regarded as perhaps the premiere regular-season event in all of women's college golf, this year's ANNIKA field included nine of the Top-10 teams in the nation, including the No. 10 Wildcats.
Opened earlier this year, The Royal Club features a front nine (or The Queen's Nine) designed by golf legend and tournament host Annika Sorenstam, and a back nine (or The King's Nine) designed by the inimitable Arnold Palmer. It was Annika's first U.S. project and, sadly, Mr. Palmer's last. Rolling hills, mature trees and abundant wildlife provide a scenic backdrop for an exceptional new home for the event.
