EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern women's basketball will receive national television coverage multiple times this season, it was announced Thursday.
The Wildcats will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network at least five times in the 2018-19 regular season, beginning with the NU home opener against Duke (Sun., Nov. 11) at 1 p.m. CT. Chicago's Big Ten Team will be unveiling the new Welsh-Ryan Arena against the Blue Devils.
NU will also compete against Marquette at home (Sun., Dec. 9) on BTN on 1 p.m. CT to round out the nonconference coverage.
Northwestern will see three conference contests televised on the Big Ten flagship. All remaining conference games will be carried on BTN Plus.
The 'Cats will battle Illinois on New Year's Eve at 2 p.m. CT and then face off against Purdue on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m. CT, both at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
NU's road game against Minnesota (Sun., Feb. 10) will be broadcast on BTN at 1 p.m. CT, rounding out the regular season televised slate.
Additionally, all Big Ten Tournament games will be televised. The championship game will be televised on ESPN2, while all others are broadcast on BTN.
