EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 12 Northwestern continues its three game road swing with a matchup at Kent State Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.

The Wildcats are 2-2 on the season, earning two ranked wins against No. 15 Stanford and No. 13 Boston College, both coming in double overtime.

The 'Cats are in the midst of a three-game stretch in five days, after playing in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Friday and Sunday against Duke and Boston College.

On Sunday against the Eagles, senior Puck Pentenga scored two goals with junior Kirsten Mansfield scoring the walk-off winner in a 3-2 double overtime win. Senior Eva van Agt picked up two assists as well.

Junior Annie Kalfas has started in both wins, making five saves against Stanford and nine saves against BC. Sophomore Florien Marcussen started against No. 1 UConn and No. 3 Duke, making a career-high ten saves against the Blue Devils.

Pentenga leads the team with nine points through the first four games on three goals and three assists. Mansfield has eight points on two goals and four assists, which have all come on penalty corners, where the #B1GCats have been particularly effective this season.

The Wildcats lead the all-time series against the Golden Flashes 9-4, including six straight wins under head coach Tracey Fuchs. Last year, the 'Cats won the matchup 2-1 in Evanston, featuring a goal from Saar de Breij and two assists from Pentenga.
