Full 2018-19 Men's Basketball Schedule | Big Ten Release
EVANSTON, Ill. — With the release of the league slate by the Big Ten Conference Tuesday afternoon, the 2018-19 Northwestern men's basketball schedule is set.
Of Note:
• The Big Ten expanded to 20 conference games for the first time in league history.
• For the second straight year Big Ten teams are playing a pair of conference games in early December before picking league play back up in January.
• The 'Cats open up league play at Indiana on Saturday, Dec. 1.
• NU will host Michigan in the first-ever Big Ten game at the new Welsh-Ryan Arena (Dec. 4).
• NU closes conference play with four-of-five games at home with the only road contest being a trip downstate to play Illinois.
A limited number of season tickets for the Wildcats' home portion of their campaign are now on sale. In all, Northwestern will play 19 games at Welsh-Ryan Arena during the upcoming season.
