Fall Sports Set for National Exposure on Big Ten Network

EVANSTON, Ill. — Contests from Northwestern men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, and volleyball will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network this season, it was announced Wednesday.
 
MEN'S SOCCER
Sept. 25 — Northwestern at Indiana — 6:30 p.m. CT
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER
Sept. 20 — Penn State at Northwestern — 7 p.m. CT
Oct. 4 — Northwestern at Rutgers — 7 p.m. CT
 
FIELD HOCKEY
Aug. 24 — UConn at Northwestern — 12 p.m. CT
 
VOLLEYBALL
Oct. 12 — Northwestern at Wisconsin — 8 p.m. CT
Oct. 24 — Northwestern at Iowa — 8 p.m. CT
 
Across the Conference, at least 81 games are scheduled to be televised by the conference's television partners on the Big Ten Network and FS1. Additional games could be selected for broadcast by another Big Ten television partner, ESPN, with that announcement to come at a later date.
 
Big Ten Network's broadcast schedule includes the field hockey championship game on November 4, live from Northwestern's Lakeside Field.
 
All 14 Big Ten schools will be featured during the conference's fall sports television schedule, with BTN and FS1 broadcasts also streamed through the BTN2Go digital platform and the FOX Sports mobile app. Additional Big Ten fall sports contests may be televised on BTN Plus, with information on those broadcasts will be made available on BTN2Go.com at a later date.
