EVANSTON, Ill. — For the tenth-straight season, Northwestern men's golf has been named an All-Academic Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), it was announced Friday.
The Wildcats earned the distinction for a team grade-point average above 3.0 for the 2017-18 academic year.
A total of 127 Division I teams — including eight Big Ten squads — earned the All-Academic Team honor.
The Wildcats have earned several academic honors recently. In May, the Big Ten Conference announced that all five eligible Wildcat men's golfers earned Academic All-Big Ten distinctions, having received cumulative GPAs above 3.0.
Northwestern paired its academic success with strong play on the course this season, as the 'Cats posted a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
