ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Hannah Kim led from wire-to-wire at Miswood Golf Club to win the 2018 Phil Kosin Illinois Women's Open for her first professional victory. The Northwestern alumnus fired a 16-under 200 for a six-shot cushion on the runner-up, and a ten-shot gap over the third-place finisher.

Kim carded the field's lowest score of the day in all three rounds of competition, opening with a 68, before firing a blistering 65 in Round 2 and sealing up her first pro win with a final round 67 (-16; 200).
The Chula Vista, California, finished her Wildcats career as just the 12th golfer in Big Ten history to earn four First Team All-Conference honors, and was Northwestern's female 2018 Big Ten Medal of Honor recipient. A three-time All-American, Kim graduated with the best career stroke average in program history, three of the four-best single-season marks in the 'Cats record book, as well as team records for 18-holes and 54-holes.
