EVANSTON, Ill. – The Big Ten and Atlantic Coast conferences announced Monday that Northwestern will host Pitt as part of the 12^th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Wildcats and Panthers will meet Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 inside the newly-renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena.
 
Tip time will be announced at a later date.
 
Northwestern is 1-2 all-time against Pitt with the last meeting coming in 1981. NU is 1-1 against the Panthers in Evanston. Pitt won that Jan. 17, 1981 matchup, 76-74.
 
Chicago's Big Ten Team is 5-6 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, including having won three of its last four and five of its last seven dating back to 2011.
