EVANSTON, Ill. -- ESPN in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the matchups for the 20^th-annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Friday and Northwestern will square off with a familiar opponent.
 
For the second straight season and the third time in five years, the Wildcats will take on Georgia Tech. This year's contest will be played Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
 
The 'Cats and the Yellow Jackets have split four previous meetings in the Challenge. Georgia Tech snuck past Northwestern, 52-51, this past season in Atlanta. Each team has won one of the two prior matchups played in Evanston.
 
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise all 14 games of the event, matching top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioner's Cup. All games will also be available to stream via the ESPN app.
