EVANSTON, Ill. – After a lengthy break the Northwestern men's tennis team is back in action with three matches over the course of the next five days.
The Wildcats get back underway Wednesday at No. 28 Texas Tech for a 5 p.m. CT contest. The team heads back into Big Ten play over the weekend with matches at Nebraska (Friday, 5 p.m.) and Iowa (Sunday, 12 p.m.) as part of what will be a four-match road swing.
Chicago's Big Ten Team sits at 6-9 (1-1) a little past the halfway point of the 2018 dual season. Five of Northwestern's nine losses have come against top-25 teams.
First year Antonioni Fasano is ranked 115th nationally with matches played in each of the top three spots. The doubles team of junior Ben Vandixhorn and sophomore Dominik Stary come in at No. 56. The duo has seven wins at the No. 1 spot.
Wednesday's match marks the first for the 'Cats since March 11 and is the first road contest since Feb. 25.
