EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern head men's tennis coach Arvid Swan will take a leave of absence from the program to address a personal health issue. Associate head coach Chris Klingemann will assume interim head coaching duties, effective immediately, until Swan's return.
"Our entire department supports Arvid and his family during this challenging time," said Vice President for Athletics & Recreation Jim Phillips. "We look forward to seeing him back on the court with our student-athletes."
The Wildcats host Illinois this Friday at 7 p.m., at Combe Tennis Center, and will host both Indiana and UIC on Sunday, March 11.
