LAS VEGAS — Northwestern men's golf moved up three spots in the team standings on Tuesday at the Southern Highlands Intercollegiate, led by even par performances by senior Sam Triplett and junior Ryan Lumsden.

Lumsden, who improved to 1-over through 36 holes, jointly leads the 'Cats in individual play, tied with senior Dylan Wu, who was 2-over on Tuesday. The pair are tied for 17th.
 
The Wildcats are tied for 10th with No. 14 Illinois at Southern Highlands with one round remaining.
 
Triplett is 4-over, tied for 41st overall. He was buoyed by a strong front nine, which saw him go 2-under.
 
Sophomore Everton Hawkins is next at 6-over (T55th) while first-year Eric McIntosh is 22-over (81st).
