COLUMBUS, Ohio — Another game, another double-double for Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah.
For the Abuja, Nigeria, native, it was her 17th of the season, pushing her into sole possession of third place for the most in a single season in Northwestern history.
The forward needs one more — with one regular season and at least one Big Ten Tournament game remaining — to tie Patricia Babcock (1993-94) and Nia Coffey (2015-16) for the most in Wildcat history.
She finished with a team-high 23 points and 14 rebounds in Northwestern's 88-54 setback to Ohio State on Wednesday night at Value City Arena. It was her third 20-plus point scoring game of her junior campaign.
First year phenom Lindsey Pulliam also added her 21st double-digit point game of the season, amassing 15 points. It was the Silver Spring, Maryland, native's seventh double-figure game in the last eight games.
Chicago's Big Ten Team is back at historic Beardsley Gym Sunday for the regular season finale against Rutgers at 2 p.m. Join the Wildcats for a special Senior Day ceremony to honor Lydia Rohde and Oceana Hamilton before the game.
