The event presents a big opportunity for the first-year Wildcats.

"The goal for the women will be to place in the Top-6 individuals," said Northwestern head coach 'AHavahla Haynes. "The field is a little smaller than last year, but still competitive with a number of other collegians running the race. Both Mandy and Hannah have displayed fitness recently that has been as good – or better – than any point during the fall cross country season so we look for them to have a solid showing."

Both Davis and Tobin posted strong openings to their collegiate indoor track careers last month at the Illinois Open, their last competitive event. Tobin fnished the 3000M event in 10:28.63 for a 13th-place result, while her classmate was right on her heels at 10:30.85 in 15th.
