ROSEMONT, Ill. — Big Ten Conference play resumes Tuesday when Northwestern squares off with Nebraska at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. Tip time is set for 8 p.m.

Tickets are available online at NUsports.com, by calling 888-GO-PURPLE or in person at the Allstate Arena Ticket Office.

A win would give Northwestern a five-game winning streak over Nebraska and would equal NU's current five-win streak against Rutgers as its longest against a Big Ten foe since topping Minnesota six straight times from 2003-07.

The Wildcats are coming off a 95-73 victory in their nonconference finale last Saturday at home against Brown. Dererk Pardon paced five NU players in double figures with 18 points as the 'Cats out-scored the Bears 47-18 over the final 15:30 to earn the win.

Pardon ranks third in the Big Ten with a .642 field goal percentage, including .741 (23-31) over the last four contests. He is Northwestern's all-time leader with a career .628 field goal percentage.

Pardon has enjoyed his two best collegiate games at Nebraska's expense. In just his second career game, Pardon came off the bench to post a career-best 28 points with 12 rebounds in an 81-72 victory in Lincoln Dec. 30, 2015, recording 23 points and 11 boards in the second half alone. Last season on Jan. 26 in Evanston, Pardon posted 19 points and a career-high 22 rebounds to lead NU to a 73-61 win. The 22 boards were the most by a Wildcat in a game in 51 years while setting a Welsh-Ryan Arena record.

The matchup is a reunion for junior guards Jordan Ash of Northwestern and Glynn Watson Jr. of Nebraska who were backcourt mates on the 2015 Illinois Class 3A state championship team at St. Joseph High School in Westchester.

Northwestern has won its last four meetings with Nebraska but trails the all-time series, 7-6. The Wildcats defeated the Cornhuskers twice last season, winning 74-66 Jan. 8 in Lincoln before posting a 73-61 win Jan. 26 in Evanston.

Scouting Nebraska
The Cornhuskers (10-5, 1-1 B1G) wrapped up their nonconference schedule with three straight wins including most recently a 71-62 home victory over Stetson last Friday. Tranfers James Palmer Jr. and Isaac Copeland paced Nebraska with 13 points apiece. Palmer leads the team with an average of 15.1 points per game while Copeland is second at 12.1 points with a team best of 6.7 rebounds per contest.
