EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern men's swimming and diving program participated in the annual North Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) bowling tournament on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The NSSRA provides and facilitates year-round recreation programs and services for children, teens and adults with disabilities who live in communities throughout the Chicagoland area.
For the fourth consecutive year, head coach Jarod Schroeder and the Wildcats volunteered at the bowling tournament in Deerfield, Illinois. Seventeen student-athletes were on hand to bowl and spend time with the NSSRA athletes.
"It's an awesome event that our team loves working and interacting with the competitors," said Schroeder. "The NSSRA athletes have a lot of fun and are very good bowlers. It's a great event."
