EVANSTON, Ill. — Each year the Northwestern men's soccer program uses its youth winter camp to collect toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. On Saturday, Dec. 16, campers in attendance donated to the Toys for Tots program.
"Toys for Tots is a great initiative by the United States Marine Corps to help those less fortunate," said head coach Tim Lenahan. "My father was a marine, who fought at Iwo Jima in Woorld War II, so this cause is very special for both my family and the program. I want to thank all those that contributed this weekend."
People can drop off new, unwrapped toys at participating IHOP locations in the Chicagoland area from now through Wednesday, Dec. 20.
