EVANSTON, Ill. -- Alex Chatt and Maddie Lipp were edged in the quarterfinal round of the doubles main draw Friday at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships.
 
Chatt and Lipp were clipped by Duke's team of Samantha Harris and Kelly Chen, 8-6, denying them a berth in Saturday's semifinals.
 
Meanwhile, in the doubles consolation draw, Erin Larner and Lee Or remained alive by notching two victories. The Wildcats' duo topped Santa Clara's Madison Clarke and Maddie Pothoff, 8-4, before defeating Utah's Brianna Turley and Margo Pletcher, 8-4, to advance to Saturday's semifinal round of the draw.
