Prequalifying Draw
EVANSTON, Ill. – Four Northwestern tennis student-athletes will play at the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., the first event of the 2017-18 season for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats are sending juniors Ben Vandixhorn and Jason Seidman, sophomore Dominik Stary, and first year Antonioni Fasano to compete for a berth to the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which take place November 1-5, in Palm Desert, California.
Vandixhorn and Seidman are slated to begin play for the 'Cats on Saturday as the pre-qualifying singles draw kicks off. Vandixhorn will face Alex Knaff (Florida State) in the second round after each received first round byes, while Seidman awaits the winner of Eduard Simo (UT-Arlington) and Guillem Sanchis (Eastern Kentucky).
Stary and Fasano begin play on Monday, playing in both the singles and doubles qualifying draws.
